Posted by dv8ed under Weddings

When I first met Angie at the consultation I could already tell that she and her fiance would be really fun to shoot. She was pleasant and just had a really easy-going personality. They had there wedding at Hale Farm and Village witch is a very nice place to have a wedding the scenery is just beautifully. The wedding went off with out a hitch and the DJ was amazing so if you are ever in the need for a DJ goto Partycleveland.com there good people.

Westside portraits

Posted by dv8ed under Portraits

Westside Automotive just lunched and new website and was in need of staff photos. I was more then happy to help them out. They didnt need anything fancy (photoshop) for this. Well this wasnt going to cut it for me lol. They got what they wanted witch if great for there site. I just couldnt help myself had to play a little. This is what I ended up with.

A few weeks ago on are way back from Toledo (Sara’s wedding) my GF Jenny said ” we should stop at Mararitaville in Sandusky”. Me being a huge fan of Mexican food I couldn’t resist.  We pull up to the place to find no one around it looked like it has been closed for years. I say” lets look around”. Yeah I know it sounds like the start to a horror movie but it just looked so cool. Behind the restaurant was a awesome looking river. I pulled out my camera and started shooting.

Came to find out we were not alone.

After about 1/2 hour of shooting and exploring Jenny was ready to go. I was still soaking it all in and wanting to stay abit longer. Then we hear the fisher men saying “look at the snakes”. It was over. Before I know it Jenny was in the car and it was time to go. I got a few quick shots and was out.

Every now and again I get the opportunity to work with incredible people. That are willing to go the extra mile to make some great photos. Sara is a graphic designer and Matt is a Jazz Musician. So you got 3 creative minds working and the out come is magical. They wanted a 20s theme with a modern twist. The shoot take place at Brothers Lounge

Trash the Dress!!!

Posted by dv8ed under Trash the Dress

Saturday I did a Trash the Dress shoot!! The location was in  Bay Village right on the lake and yes it was COLD. But the scene was just breath taking.

I was so excited to do this shoot. A lot of people get freaked out when you bring up “trash the dress” thinkin that there dress is going to be destroyed. That is not the case (unless you want it to be and that could be tons of fun lol) the meaning of Trash the Dress is to take photos in a location that you would normally not be in on your wedding day. This takes place after the honeymoon. And photos that come out of it is just WOW i’m so into it. You get more time to be creative. Its a lot more laid back because you don’t  have the stress of the wedding day. It is really a lot of fun.
